Hosted by OECON GROUP Bulgaria in collaboration with renowned Bulgarian couture designer Ivan Donev, the residency offers an exceptional opportunity for emerging textile artists, fashion designers, and craft practitioners to deepen their skills through an intensive two-week creative experience.

Theme: Reinterpreting Shevitsa

The residency explores the theme “Reinterpreting Shevitsa: Connecting Traditional Bulgarian Textile Motifs with Contemporary Fashion and Couture Design.” Participants will engage with the rich heritage of Bulgarian embroidery and textile traditions while experimenting with contemporary design approaches under the mentorship of Ivan Donev.
