Preserving Memory, Amplifying Voices: The Roma Reels Project Begins

On September 17, the online kick-off meeting of the new European project Flashbacks of Forgotten Crimes – Roma Reels took place, with OECON GROUP Bulgaria participating as a project partner.

Together with our partners from Serbia, North Macedonia, Albania, and Greece, we laid the foundations of the project, discussing the first activities, the research framework, and the ethical principles for collecting testimonies and archival materials related to the Roma Holocaust and genocide, from World War II to the present day.

Project Partners:

• CUBE – Greece (Coordinator)
• EDIT Centar – Serbia
• Roma Youth Center (RYC) – North Macedonia
• Roma Versitas Albania (RVA) – Albania
• OECON GROUP Bulgaria – Bulgaria

Through dedication and collaboration, we are embarking on a project that brings visibility to stories that must never be forgotten.
