Wooden Egg Painting Workshop brings creativity and craftsmanship together | Craftwork4.0All

As part of the Craftwork4.0All project, OECON BG successfully organized the Wooden Egg Painting Workshop, an engaging intergenerational creative activity that brought together children, young people, parents, educators, artists, and members of the local community.

The workshop was led by multidisciplinary artists Alrik Suvari and Suzanne Beautyman, whose work is deeply connected to woodcraft and artistic expression. For this special event, Alrik handcrafted a collection of beautiful wooden eggs in his workshop in Belgium, providing participants with unique wooden canvases for their artistic creations.

Participants were first introduced to the art of woodworking and learned how a simple piece of wood is transformed into a decorative handcrafted object. They then selected their wooden eggs and explored a variety of painting techniques, colours, patterns, and motifs to create truly personal works of art.
