Since its founding in 2018, StoryCatchers has been a beacon of socially engaged art in Bulgaria, specializing in Playback theater, contemporary dance, and innovative creative initiatives. The founders, who were part of Bulgaria’s first professional Playback theater troupe, leverage their rich experience to foster transformative projects.

With over 200 performances and a myriad of international workshops under their belt, StoryCatchers has made significant strides with initiatives like “For Birds and People” and “The Island of Turtles,” and their impactful work with refugees. Under the guidance of Jonathan Fox in 2017, they have significantly contributed to growing the Playback theater community in Bulgaria.

Now, they are thrilled to be part of the European project “Theatre in Palm.”
