Who is Romdiem for?

Romdiem Project brings together communities, educators, and organizations to preserve Roma history and strengthen remembrance across Europe. The project engages groups who each play a vital role in shaping collective memory:

– Roma Communities – especially young people and elders, empowered to share, protect, and celebrate their history and cultural heritage.
– General Public – raising awareness among European citizens who may not know about the Roma Holocaust, fostering empathy and solidarity.
– Educators & Academics – supporting the integration of Roma history into curricula and encouraging inclusive, evidence-based research.
– Civil Society Organizations – particularly those working in human rights, minority rights, and historical memory, building space for cooperation and shared learning.
