We are delighted to share the first edition of the ROMDIEM Newsletter, presenting the latest achievements and milestones of the project. This inaugural issue highlights our mission to preserve the memory of the Roma Holocaust (Samudaripen) through education, remembrance, and international cooperation.

• The launch of the Hidden Stories Repository, preserving powerful testimonies from Roma Holocaust survivors’ families, descendants, and Roma communities.
• The publication of the ROMDIEM Whitepaper, presenting key research findings and policy recommendations.
• Highlights from the International Symposium in Thessaloniki, which brought together 104 participants from across Europe to promote dialogue, remembrance, and inclusive education.

The newsletter showcases the progress achieved so far and reflects the project’s commitment to ensuring that the stories of the Roma Holocaust are preserved, shared, and recognised as an integral part of Europe’s collective memory.
